This was a work I wrote specifically for myself to play in my Final Recital for my Bachelor of Music Degree. It started off as an experiment using a Boss loop-station to try and create a Salsa-style groove (normally played by bands of ten or more members!) with only solo harp and developed into a really fun piece to play. 'Son Montuno' was premiered at a solo recital at Christ Church, Southport on the 12th March 2014 and is available in sheet music from MCM Music.
